The Tai Chi Form I teach is the Cheng Man Ching 37 Posture Short Form. The Form is taught through direct lineage from Cheng Man-Ching to John Eastman to Glyn Williams, with whom I studied for a number of years, and modified through my year studying with Hamid Momtahan. It’s fair to say that I am dedicated to this style of Tai Chi.
I currently teach Tai Chi to individuals and groups privately in and around Clapham, and a regular class on Mondays at reCentre, Balham.
I am a teaching member of the Jun Chi Tai Chi Chuan Association of Great Britain, the organisation establishedby Glyn.
For more information about the Jun Chi Tai Chi Chuan Association, go to www.taichilondon.synthasite.com.
I am also a Full Instructor Member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain, since 2005. The TCUBG promotes the practice of tai chi and provides information about British tai chi organisations, teachers and classes, equipment suppliers and sources of books, videos and other materials.
The Union publishes a twice-yearly magazine.
Students will find useful information, detailed descriptions of the Cheng Man-Ching Form and links to related videos here.
